I stole this from Facebook but this is the mayor of Kalamazoo Bobby Hopewell and our representative in the Michigan State legislature Jon Hoadley, this is in downtown Kalamazoo tonight in celebration of the SCOTUS decision.

I love Kalamazoo and love that the leaders in our community are such advocates for the LGBTQA community. A few weeks ago at Kalamazoo Pride Mayor Bobby Hopewell told us that as a mayor in the state of Michigan he has the privilege of being able to marry people and he pledged that if the Supreme Court decided in favor of marriage equality that he would personally marry any and all couples who wanted to get married…. Obviously with some scheduling and advanced notice but how awesome is out mayor.
